One of the problems with achievement and success, is that the emotions that occur once we achieve our goal, often get confused with the energy that gave us the power to get there. The emotions that were spun of by achieving the goal, or the allocades you received from friends, strangers or family, those were consequences of achieving something. They were great, weren't they? But they were not the source of the power that made you achieve your success. It was deeper, wasn't it. Don't confuse the emotional outcome from being successful with the Pure Energy of Creation. The emotional outcome of success is ego and confidence. The Pure Energy of Creation is the delight of being in action. It's not the ego gratification you get from success. There is actually a phenomena called winners remorse, noted in top Olympic athletes. After they receive their medal for winning a incredibly challenging athletic event, they describe the days after as some of the most depressing of their life. Why? Because they are not clear that the Pure Energy of Creation is the driving force that they loved, not the ego or status of actually achieving the goal.
This distinction between the energy of taking action, vs the experience of having achieved the outcome you want is crucial to understand, because we humans can become quickly addicted to the emotionas that occur when we are successful. It can be easy to forget that that the real value of achievement, is the delight we feel as we are frequently in contact with our personal Pure Energy of Creation as we work though whatever it takes to reach the outcome. Put another way, we often confuse positive, enjoyable (and addictive) emotions for real power.
Or, when we achieve our goals, we react for some reason, with fear, or embarrassment, self consciousness, or social inhibition, and start to hate ourselves for our own success. Many of these things are programmed deep into our cultures , perhaps even deliberately by powerful but frustrated people who were jealous of more successful people those that clearly had come into joyful contact with their Pure Energy of Creation.
The third key point to understand about emotions is that most of us believe very deeply that we cannot manage or control our emotions. You might even have some complex variation on this belief, something like 'not feeling my emotions in inhumane', or 'I will never stop feeling poor my family never had money'. Or even simpler 'You can't help the way you feel'.
These beliefs are very deeply held, across a wide spectrum of people in society.
